At Koç University, academic personnel wages are established separately for each individual in consideration of the individual’s area of expertise, academic title, achievements, experience, academic market conditions, and their position at the University and these are indicated in the contracts. The wages specified in the contract are regulated in accordance with the procedures established by the Board of Trustees. The SGK (Social Security Institution) day tally of the academic personnel working on an hourly wage is proportional to the hours that they work.
